Coach Al Seyford has been coaching basketball at various levels for the past 29 years. A graduate of Sacramento State, Coach Seyford began his coaching career at the middle school level for two years before moving to the high school level. Coach Seyford has been an assistant or head coach at all three levels and has coached both girls and boys. Most recently, Coach Seyford was the Head Varsity basketball coach at Christian Brothers High School where he helped turn around a program that won only 6 games in each of the prior two seasons into a 17-win team who advanced to the second round of the playoffs. Coach Seyford has also coached at the junior college level as well as doing advanced scouting work in the NBA. Coach Seyford feels extremely fortunate to be participating in his 3rd year with Rose City.
